Handy Mobile Apps for Video Production Professionals

In today’s fast-paced world, people are always looking for ways to make their life easier. Between our families, friends, life responsibilities and careers, time passes quickly, begging the all too familiar question ‘where did the day go’? Technology fuels the world around us.  Whether it serves as a distraction or a useful tool in accomplishing your daily tasks, one thing is for sure, we can all agree we wish we had more time in a day and an extra set of hands.

If you freelance, working in production or post-production for the broadcast, film, corporate or music industry, you are familiar with the need for many workstations; the office, the home office and your mobile office! I’m like millions of others who own a laptop, cell phone, Ipad, tablet or all of the above, as a means to manage my hectic life! I’m always looking for things to make workflow and daily tasks more efficient. In my many conversations with colleagues about practical and useful apps, I decided to compile a short list of apps that I felt might be useful to many of you working as Producers, Production Assistants, Editors or any of the many jobs in between.
